I'm more and more amazed at the way things come about. I join a Shakespeare Facebook group, someone in the USA posts looking for new scripts inspired by Shakespeare. I check out their website, apparently this initiative was inspired by the work of Charles Marowitz, a name that I'm familiar with but whose work I have not read. Over to Amazon Uk, and 3 weeks later I'm reading Charles Marowitz, more specifically 'Recycling Shakespeare'. The book was written in 1991, and only now am I getting to understand that there are people out there inspired along the same lines. Brilliant! Although I have to say there's much I don't agree with in the book, neverthless this is very all very inspirational.
